Dr. K. Thiyagu

Dr. K. Thiyagu is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Education, Central University of Kerala, Kasaragod, where he teaches research methodology, educational psychology, educational statistics, and advanced educational technology. He holds a degree of M.Sc. (Maths). M.Phil. (Maths), M.Ed., M.Phil. (Education), M.Sc. (Psychology), and Ph.D. (Education). He has 16 years of teaching experience in various organizations. Before joining CUK, he was in the Faculty of Education (on contract), School of Education and Training, Central University of Tamilnadu, Thiruvarur, Tamilnadu. 

Dr. Thiyagu has made significant contributions to the academic community, with his areas of expertise ranging from descriptive statistics to multivariate data analysis techniques. He is also an expert in LMS, AI in Education, AR in Education, Web Tools for Education, Mobile Apps for Education, and Open Educational Resources, to name a few. 

His passion for teaching and research is evident through his impressive publication record, with over 85 articles published in national and international journals. His academic excellence extends beyond his publications, as he has successfully completed more than 50 Massive Open Online Courses on different platforms, including Coursera, Udemy, and SWAYAM. He has presented papers at 125 international and national conferences across India, making him a well-known figure in the academic circuit. He has also acted as a resource person for over 500 workshops, conferences, and induction programs, sharing his knowledge and expertise with aspiring scholars.

Dr Thiyagu's contributions to the field of education are not limited to his academic pursuits, as he has authored four books in the area of ICT in Education. He has also developed seven modules for two NRC-ARPIT courses offered through the SWAYAM platform. With such an impressive academic background and expertise, he continues to inspire and motivate countless scholars in the field of education. His dedication and passion for education serve as a guiding light for those who aspire to impact the academic community positively.
